The old cliche goes "the pen is mightier than the sword." Saying that words can affect someone, a situation, pretty much anything, much more than any physical act can. Words can leave a lasting impression, they can get under your skin and stick with you long after bruises fade, hair grows out, you grow up. There are some words you'll never forget.
I still remember everything verbatim. Their hurtful and thoughtless words will never leave me.
